I had previously had cysts removed by Dr Warrilow. He is empathetic and explains everything with clear diagrams as to the procedure. He was assisted by 'the other' Dr Warrilow and the wound is healing nicely. Will definitely return if another cyst develops. I was also impressed by the flow through the centre and infection control. Just wish he was my GP.

I wish to thank, not only Dr. Bill Warrilow but also his wife who is a Doctor as well. They both gave me great care and I felt very comfortable in their presence whilst I was operated on for the first time, on 28/4/2020, when a lump was removed from the top of my forehead. Two weeks later Dr. Warrilow informed me on the telephone that following tests from a laboratory, it was discovered this lump was a basal cell carcinoma, the most common type of skin cancer and easily treatable. He said it would be necessary to operate on me a second time and asked me to come back to the Charing Surgery to discuss this with him. There he explained that although this was not the kind of cancer which spread, I should be operated on again in the Ashford William Harvey Hospital as the incision should be deeper and more flesh needed to be removed to ensure all the cancer had gone. I begged him to do the operation himself in Charing as at the time, the William Harvey was a Covid 19 hot spot and I trusted the precautionary measures the Charing Surgery were taking. I also trusted Dr. Warrilow as I had felt no pain whatsoever during the first operation when my forehead was frozen up and I was fully concious throughout the procedure and able to hold a conversation. Luckily I persuaded Dr. Warrilow to do the second operation in the Charing Surgery on 17/9/2020, again with his wife assisting and I am happy to report it has been a success. I also felt no pain at all during the second operation and was reassured in the presence of both Warrilows and count myself very lucky to have had this couple looking after me and am extremely grateful to them. It took me a long time to heal up completely from the second operation, which is why this review comes so late but my face no longer bears any scars and it is hard to see where the original incisions were made. The NHS are lucky to have both the Warrilows working for them and I would highly recommend them because the care they gave was wonderful and could not possibly be improved upon. With my sincere thanks, Mrs. W.M. van Lieshout

I had a small ‘op’ today at Charing surgery performed by Dr Bill Warrilow and Dr Susanne Warrilow. I considered myself extremely fortunate to be in the great care of Dr Bill Warrilow snd together with Dr Susanne Warrilow my procedure was completed swiftly and incredibly smoothly. I had a lump removed from my upper right arm. I felt totally relaxed snd very comfortable the whole time I was in their care. We enjoyed a jolly conversation which I wasn’t expecting as prior to my arrival I was quite apprehensive. I honestly felt no pain and no discomfort whatsoever. It was a truly wonderful experience. Thank you to both Dr Bill and Dr Susanne Warrilow. I thoroughly recommend you both for your professionalism and expertise.

Dr Warrilow is a GP surgeon who performs surgical operations under local anaesthetic at his GP practice. He explained exactly what he was going to do and provided a calm, competent atmosphere. The procedure was very effective, rapid and totally pain free thanks to his excellent procedure for analgesia. I have had minor surgeries before (deep cuts, skin tumour removal) where pain relief was incomplete and quite painful as a result. Whilst I was prepared for something similar it did not transpire, there was no discomfort whatsoever. Dr Warrilow’s wife, also a doctor was equally reassuring.

I had a minor surgical procedure which was explained to me very well, and carried out painlessly. Only minor discomfort afterwards. All necessary measures with regard to covid -19 were also observed. Very calm professional manner.
